Literature Text

Children often have a toy or something like that that they are close to and find sentimental value to. Sometimes this goes away after a while, but others it does not. (F/N) Rogers seemed to be one of those cases were the love for a toy never left. True she was only still a small child of age five, but she still seemed to have a never ending love for a stuffed duck that was given to on her first birthday. She never went anywhere without the thing. It ate with her, went to sleep with her, and even took baths with her. She simply was inseparable from the toy.

Her father Steve Rogers saw nothing wrong with this and neither did any of the other Avengers, until the plush animal became so utterly filthy it looked like a health hazard. The thing had to be properly washed, but (F/N) would not allow it. Every time someone would try to toss it in the washing machine she ended up getting it back. So they tried different tactics.

Tony tried bribing her with money. “OK what about five hundred dollars for that duck sweet heart?” She simply looked at him blackly and hugged the duck tighter. “No!” “Come on you could buy sooooo many ducks with five hundred dollars!” “But I want this duck!” She would scream, and so he would give up and somehow get conned into going out and buying ice cream.

Bruce would try and show her the upsides to washing her toy. “But if you wash the duck it will be all nice and fluffy! Wouldn’t you love that?” She would shake her head. “No. That would wash away all the love in ducky.” And so the two would argue over the pro’s and con’s of washing the toy.

Thor offered a trip to Asgard and PopTarts, but this was also turned down. “But it is Asgard my child. Filled with wonders beyond your imagination,” he would boom, and she would answer; “Thor use your inside voice. And why would I want to go to a place where everyone can’t do that like you?” That Thor and (F/N) would fight over how loud ‘Inside Voice’ was. (F/N) would always win.

Natasha and Clint tried to convince her that washing the toy was the best thing for everyone and that it was important that she did so. “Now kid I understand that you don’t WANT to wash the thing, but it would be best for everyone if you did,” the red head said sitting at a table. Across from her was (F/N) holding her duck, and Clint was behind her. “I don’t care it’s MY duck.” “Then we will have to use force. You don’t want us doing that. Do you?” Clint placed his hands on (F/N)s shoulders. But it was all bluff and the child knew this so she didn’t pay them any attention.

Steve he own father couldn’t get the duck away from her. He would try to go into her room at night and sneak it into the laundry, but she would always wake up. It seemed as though the duck would never be cleaned, but that was proven wrong. One day out of no were the duck turned up clean. No one knew how but it was clean and that was all that mattered. Now you are probably wondering how (F/N) was conned into giving up the duck so it could be cleaned. Well the God of Mischief is not called that for no reason now is he. A simple illusion can be used to trick even the greatest of minds into believing something that is not true. And even Loki could not say no to the puppy eyes of (F/N) when she came wining for help.

Sooo my little sister gave me this idea when she was trying to take my stuffed animalsConfused she didn't get themPanda LOL  but she did get a story that she inspired.

Why are stories so small looking on this siteNeko Emoji-22 (Shocked Aah) [V2]
